About Us

JF Hull Holdings is a civil engineering contracting organisation specialising in the field of concrete construction.

The organisation was formed in 1977 with the aim of undertaking works requiring a high degree of professional engineering and field construction skills. To date we have been successful in achieving this aim, having delivered over 135 projects to the satisfaction of our clients with no disputes.

With its foundation in concrete construction, JF Hull has grown to deliver some of the most challenging infrastructure projects, providing expertise in bridge works, roadworks, drainage and structural steelwork.

JF Hull has operated from the beginning on the principles of providing a professional construction service of the highest level, of seeking projects which require a high degree of engineering and construction skill and of being considerate of our staff, suppliers and subcontractors.

Our Approach

JF Hull’s success is underpinned by the ongoing owner level commitment and involvement, its long term workforce and low staff turnover rate; a unique attribute in the construction industry.  It is the longevity, ongoing commitment and collective experience of its personnel that has allowed JF Hull to partner and collaboratively work with its valued clients to deliver many key pieces of critical infrastructure.

While we maintain our professional standards, all our people are invited to contribute and we recognise that many of the best ideas originate from those who do the work in the field.  In doing so we have maintained a core of long term staff, many with over 15 years service and some over 30 years.

We maintain a regular group of long term suppliers and subcontractors who we look on as partners in our business.

JF Hull generally employs a workforce over 85 strong in a diverse array of projects that include:

Construction of major bridges, roads, motorways and rail infrastructure

Water and sewage treatment plants

Wharves and jetties

Bulk earthwork and drainage operations

Major structural concrete projects

Public buildings
